    1849: First day cover, 20 c. black on yellow, a fresh example, tied by "LYON 1 JANV. 49" cds to small enlope for a visiting card, with handwritten "Affranchie", sent to St. Chamond, reverse with arrival datestamp. Stamp touched a lower right but an interesting and appealing cover, signed Calves Yvert = € 17'500.
