    1631/33: Archive-lot 100 merchant letters mainly addressed to Nicolo Passavanti e figli in Anvers/Belgium, including more than 30 items from Basle, further from Frankfurt (9), Cologne (15), Venice (6), Lyon (20) and other destinations. Interesting assembly of early merchant mail for the specialist. Nicolas Passavant (1559-1633) important silk weaver and founder of the silk industry in Basle, Switzerland.
