    1948 (April 21): Andrés Bello issue, Die Proofs (2) by Institut de Gravure, Paris on watermarked thick paper, for two Airmail values, 1 s. 30 c.  struck in brown (issued in green) and 1 s. 90 c. value struck in close to the issued carmine colour, the latter with pinhole but scarce; also the 1942/47 Mt. Chimborazo set of four unused (Scott 404/407C) together with the original black & white Photograph used for the design of the issue (taken by Hirtz of Quito).
