    1869: Archive dated cover to Ambato probably from Alausi, franked by marginal ½ r. deep ultramarine and 1 r. deep orange yellow, two singles and a vertical pair, tied by lozenges of 64 dots in black; the adhesives with just touched to good margins all round, the cover folded for Exhibit display, a scarce and appealing franking.
