    1849: Cérès 1 fr. carmine on yellowish (two examples) used with 1852 Présidence 10 c. bistre and 25 c. blue (2), margins good to touched, on 1853 double rate cover from Jarnac to New Orleans, endorsed 'voie d'Angleterre' tied by '1572' petit chiffres. Jarnac cds of despatch above (April 7) and two strikes of framed PD in black at right. Circular 'Boston Br. Pkt. / 5' datestamp at left. Some imperfections with vertical file fold but a scarce and appealing mixed issue usage. Signed Calves. Cert. Scheller (2009).
