    1870: Bordeaux 20 c. ultramarine, Report 1, Type III, a fine large margined example used on 'Border Rate' cover from Thonon to Geneva, tied by 3949 gros chiffres with 'Thonon' cds at left (May 13). Framed PD in red alongside. Geneva arrival cds (May 14) on reverse. The rate was applicable in the 'Grenzrayon' of 30 kms. A charming and scarce cover. Cert. Von der Weid (1996).
