    1852: 9 cr. brown-violet, a wonderful horizontal strip of four (third stamp with plate flaw on 'R' of 'Crazie'), paying the quadruple rate, used on 1856 entire letter endorsed 'Par Vapeur' from Livorno to Mraseille, the adhesives tied by four strikes of unframed 'P.D.' applied in black with a fifth strike at right. 'Livorno' despatch cds at base (April 14) in black and octagonal French entry marking at top in blue. The cover has been lightly cleaned and pressed, otherwise an exceptional and rare multiple on cover. Signed Giulio Bolaffi (1949), A. Bolaffi, L. Miro. Cert. Giulio Bolaffi (1969).
