    1897/1964c.: Collection with vast array of stamps, varieties, covers/cards (100+) and Essays including 1900 5 m. punctured SG Official on covers (3), 1941 1 m. - 4 m. values in sheetlet format unused, 1948 3 m. Official in a complete mint sheet, 1956 unadopted 'frame only' Essays in black and full Essays in carmine & black (20 in four multiples), range of attractive covers throughout (100+) with much Censor and cancellation interest etc., Postal Stationery including 'Express' in black on 1 pi. envelope unused, and an unusual English / Arabic bilingual note 'no new stamps are permitted to be exported from the Sudan unless covered by an Export licence from the War Supply - Chief Censor' with triangular 'Passed Censor - 2 - Sudan' cachet alongside. An interesting, if somewhat untidy selection.
