    Marc Pourpe Flight 1914 (Feb 3): Cover to Bristol franked by Egypt 1914 5 m. lake tied by 'Heliopolis 3.11.14 - 5-6PM' datestamp in black to Northward Flight cover carried by Marc Pourpe with fine strike of POSTE AERIENNE / L.N.A. / MARC POURPE / 1913-14 / CAIRE-KHARTOUM circular cachet in violet. Reverse with Cairo datestamp (8pm.) of the same day and Bristol cds of arrival (Feb 10). Slight diagonal opening tear in corner of envelope near adhesive but a correctly franked and very rare surviving cover. Cert. Todd AIEP (2016).
