    1866: 1 pi. claret, perf. 13 x 12½, a fine example used on 1866 entire letter from Cairo to Alexandria tied by late usage of the retta in black; with scarce POSTE VICE-REALI EGIZIANE / CAIRO despatch cds (June 29) in red  and corresponding arrival cds of ALEXANDRIA, also struck in red ink.
