    Postage Due 1871: 40 c. blue imperforate, a fine large margined example used on stampless 1873 cover from Tarascon to Nimes, neatly tied on arrival by 'Nimes' datestamp (April 8) with repeated strike on reverse. Slightest of file folds and reverse with opening flap tear but an attractive usage. Rare. Signed Calves Maury 7 = € 2'750/Yvert = € 3'000.
    40 c. bleu oblit. Tarascon 8 avril 73 pour Nîmes. Légère trace de pli dans la marge supérieure (cadre intact).
