    Ballon Monté 1870: Printed Ballon Monté form, mailed from beseiged Paris to 'Mr. Glaiz-Bizoin, 'Membre du Gouvernement, Tours', franked by 1870 Siège 10 c. bistre (two, uncancelled), dated internally Oct 9th, 1870 and flown on the 10th Ballon 'Louis Blanc'. The reverse with superb circular 'RÉPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE / 1 Aerostiers / Nadar-Dartois / Durouf' cachet in red. Signed Calves. Cert. Calves (1999).
