    1871/75: Cérès 15 c. bistre used with 1863/71 Laureated 30 c. brown pair on small 1872 envelope to Yale College, New Haven, USA tied by 2656 gros chiffres with 'Nice' cds at left (Oct 28). Underpaid and struck with 'Affranchisement / Insuffisant' in red. London transit on reverse and charged '14' (cents) in black with Depreciated Currency 'New York / US Notes / 18' cds (Nov 12) of arrival. A most attractive cover.
