    1867: 5 fr. grey, a fine example but for rounded corner perf. used on 1873 registered and insured (for 3'000 francs) cover in combination with 1870 Siège 40 c. orange, 1871/75 Cérès 30 c. brown and 25 c. blue in a vertical pair and a horizontal strip of four - note frame break on left stamp - all tied by 4328 gros chiffres with 'Voulx' datestamp alongside (Sept 6) and straight line CHARGÉ in red above. Rate box in red on reverse and Montereau cds (Sept 6), Sens-S-Yonne cds (Sept 7) and Cheroy cds of same day. A delightful and scarce four colour franking. Signed Calves.
    5 fr. gris avec petites irrégularités dans le coin supérieur droit en combinaison avec Siège 40 c. orange, Cérès 30 c. brun et Cérès 25 c. bleu en paire et bande de quatre (un coin arrondi) oblit. gros chiffres 4328 sur lettre chargée valeur 3'000 francs de Voulx (6 sept.73) pour Montacher par Cheroy. Lettre particulièrement attractive.
