    1865/72: ½ r. blue, a fine used example showing the sheet marginal rule at left, huge margins all round with tiny scissor cut in margin only at base, on cover (with 'Republica del Ecuador' seal in black inside and on watermarked Arms paper) mailed to Guaranda, cancelled by neat 'Chimbo' manuscript in black ink. Most attractive and scarce.
