    Réunion - General Issues 1859/65: Eagle 10 c. bistre used in combination with the astonishing block of twenty eight 80 c. rose (making up a 22 Franc 50 centime rate), all tied by lozenge of dots handstamps in black with framed 'PD' above in red, to 1867 cover front to Paris. RÉUNION / ST. PIERRE despatch datestamp at base (Oct 18) in black and octagonal COL. F. V. SUEZ PAQ. F. / MARS. / 3 entry marking in red (Nov 16) alongside. Some small faults well away from the adhesives, a truly wonderful and most attractive piece for the specialist.

    10 c. bistre + 80 c. rose en bloc de 21 oblit. losanges sur devant de lettre (légèrement défectueuse) de La Réunion/St Pierre (18 oct) pour Paris. Un affranchissement extraordinaire de 22 fr.50.
