    1 c. bronze on greenish, 2 c. red-brown, Type II in a horizontal pair and 1870 Siège 10 c. bistre in a horizontal tête-bêche pair, all used on 1871 entire letter to make up the newly introduced (Sept 1) 25 centimes rate, tied by 3218 gros chiffres with 'Roubaix' cds (Sept. 26) below. Reims arrival cds (Sept. 27) on reverse of a wonderful and extremely rare 'Affranchisements Composés' cover. Signed Calves Maury 36tb = € 7'500/Yvert = € 9'000.
