    1854: India ½ a. indigo, Die II, a fine example with large margins on three ides and clear at base, just crossed by file fold, used on 1854 large part cover from Kathmandu to Calcutta, tied by diamond lozenge of dots obliterator in black with reverse (opens well for Exhibit display) showing superb strike of framed ‘NEPAUL / ‘15 October 54’ Paid’ despatch struck in magenta ink with date in manuscript. Calcutta arrival cds in red above (Oct 27). An outstanding and important cover with the India Lithographed used in first month of issue, the earliest recorded usage of a Postage Stamp in Nepal. Cert.
