    1862: Entire letters (2) to Bucharest, each carried at the newly introduced (May 1, 1862) rate tariff of 30 parale for ½ ounce (16 grams), with stampless entire letter cancelled "ZIMNICEA" datestamp (July 6) and framed "P.P." in black and a similar prepaid entire letter with "OLTENITA" datestamp (July 17) and framed "P.P." struck in blue. Both the letters being crossed in crayon to denote pre-payment and both marked in crayon "fr. 30". (Kiriac fig. 346 and 360). A delighful pair, mailed before the new adhesive issue had reached the Post Offices. Cert. Heimbüchler (2010).
