    1853 (April 26): Large part cover from Tirgoviste sent registered to Bucharest with superb strike of two line dated "TIRGOVISTE" handstamp in black (Kiriac fig. 254) with manuscript "No. 2" above and part red crayon 'Paid' cross on front panel. One flap missing but a rare and attractive cover. Cert. Heimbüchler (2010). Provenance: Collection L. N. Cristea.
