The earliest known use of the 2 rbs . 1851: Ferslew printing, 2 rbs. blue, Plate 2, Type 10, position 44; a fine large margined example on local 1851 early cover, neatly cancelled by fine strike of mute circular obliterator in black. Footpost (12/5) cancellation alongside in blue-green. Merest ageing around the adhesive but an exceptional and important cover for the specialist: the earliest recorded usage of this stamp. Cert. Nielsen (2003) Facit = Skr. 60'000. Provenance: Collection Per Lorentzen.
