    Ordinary letter from "VAPNIARKA POD 21.10.18" to "RIGA 8 3 19" franked 5 k. green Postal Savings Bank stamp and 20 k. Imperial Arms perforated overprinted with Podillia XIb. A rare usage from Podillia to a foreign destination other than Germany and Austria. It would appear that the letter arrived during the Bolshevik Occupation of Riga. Provenance: Collection Dr. Seichter.
