    ½ peso orange-yellow, the famous horizontal strip of ten, clear to large margins all round, close on first stamp but not impinging on the design, showing the complete five Transfer Types A-B-C-D-E repeated, this strip being the proving multiple for the arrangement of the cliches ob the lithographic Stone, the composition of the sheet being sixteen 'bloc report' of 5 positions. Some vertical creases not apparent on face and of no significance on such a multiple which is individually cancelled by dotted oval 'Lima' handstamps in black. Together with the vertical block of ten this is the largest multiple of the ½ peso and of impeccable provenance. A major rarity of Peruvian and South American classic philately.

Two stamps with closed tears and a minute corner crease at the edge of the block, these being of no significance compared to the philatelic importance of this multiple. The block is cancelled by five complete strikes of the straight line OTUSCO handstamp in red and is of spectacular appearance, being the largest known multiple of this stamp. A wonderful item for the connoisseur.
