    1 d. blue, an attractive vertical strip of four in a bright shade, close but clear at top and with large margins on three sides, Transfer Types 4/9/14/19, used on February 1859 entire letter carried at double rate from Arica to Lima, cancelled by three strikes of ARICA datestamps in black. A rare usage, vertical strips being most uncommon on letter.
