Two small closed tears at right in margin only and thin spot not affecting the appearance of this classic rarity with just 709 stamps printed.     40 pa. blue on white wove paper, the mint sheet of 32 subjects (8x4), showing the central two rows with eight vertical tête-bêche pairs, fresh colour with just one or two age spots due to the near complete unmounted original gum, one pinhole and central vertical crease between the stamps mentioned for accuracy only and not greatly affecting the appearance of this stunning sheet. As far as this describer can ascertain there are no more than five or six sheets known, this being one of the finest. A wonderful and extremely rare multiple for the classic specialist.
