1852 (23. Nov.): 5c black on yellow paper, block of six from the left sheet margin on letter with partly erased address from FIURENZUOLA to BOLOGNA. The very rare block is in its original state without any repairs. It has some margin faults and is cut into at the bottom and at the top on the right hand stamp. The stamps are tied by a straight line AFFRANCATA and the FIURENZUOLA double circle in red. The stamps are gently cancelled with the red grid of FIURENZUOLA . On the reverse a BOLOGNA receiving mark in black is dated 25. Nov. This block is one of the largest entities of this stamps on cover. The attractive rarity is signed E.
