1901/11: Queen's Staircase, De La Rue Plate Proof for 1 d. black & red imperforate on wmk. Crown CC paper (inverted), a corner marginal block of four showing marginal lines, circles at top left and the printer's guide cross, Frame Plate 2, Vignette Plate 2. Some creasing and almost certainly from a printer's Trial sheet, without gum. Rare and most unusual.rnNote: A sheet in similar format was apparently discovered in 1949, the combination of Frame and vignette both from Plate 2 only occurs on the stamps watermarked Multiple Crown CA.
