A wonderful lot, almost impossible to replicate nowadays. Careful viewing is recommended.

    Lebanon 1865/1909: Album pages from Exhibit collection with 52 stamps and 3 covers, all cancelled "BEYRUT 81" in blue or black (C&W fig. 4), with multiples, pieces and three attractive covers, "TRIPOLI" (Trabulus Sam, fig. 128) and "ZAHLE" (fig. 140). A fine and appealing lot.

    Istanbul City Post 1868/76: The balance of an Exhibit collection on leaves with covers/cards (20) including France in-coming cover, Local Post 1 pi. yellow on cover backstamped Üsküdar (C&W fig. 90), registered cover from Bulgaria with 1 and 2 pi. adhesives tied "Sumnu 81" and City Post 1 pi. tied on reverse with framed "Besiktas" alongside (fig 91), covers and cards from Kayseri, Pera and Erzurum etc. also a few 1866 Poste Locale stamps and a 20 pa. block. Generally fine and scarce selection with careful viewing recommended.
