1820 (Feb 19): Entire letter prepaid from Quito to Popayan with fine strikes of FRANCA and QUITO in red, prepaid '2' reales in manuscript, with docketing '83' on reverse (distance in leagues), carried on the Quito-Otavalo-Ibarra-Tuquerres-Pasto-Popayan route. A fresh and fine entire.
New Granada 1861: 10 c. blue, an unused example of good colour, ample to large margins all round, slightest of internal bends not affecting the appearance of a very scarce stamp, unused without gum Gi 13 = £ 700/Scott = $ 1'250.
1945/74: Collection hundreds stamps primarily in unmounted og condition incl. miniature sheets such as 1946 Postal services, 1949 Electrical communication, 1954 Kannon Bosatsu definitive, in addition National Park issues and Airmail stamps.
1935/85: Lot 16 Miniature and Souvenir sheets incl. 1935 Mount Fuji miniature sheet (Scott 222a = $ 600) and seven National Park souvenir sheets 1938-1941 (Gi MS344 - MS384 = $ 1'080), in unmounted og condition, in addition a few booklets.
1867/99: Lot 16 unused stamps incl. 1867/68 Eagle issues and 1899 "E.F. 1899" ovpts on 1894 definitives, also the two values of 50 c. claret and 100 c. brown rose ovpt. later on in Brazil.

1843: 30 r. black and 90 r. black, Fine Impressions, each hinged to individual piece and tied by CORREIO GERAL DA CORTE datestamp (22.7.1844) in black. The 30 r. with imperfections in top margin and horizontal crease but an attractive piece.
1916/18: First Wolörd War Censored covers (5) with 1917 underpaid cover to Switzerland opened by French Censor, and unusual cover to Berlin censored by Allies with 'Opened by Censor' in red and with further German label applied 'Militärischerseits unter Kriegsrecht geöffnet'.
1920 (Feb): Multicolores 10 c. "Condor on Cliff", an unused example with typical close margin at left, small nick at top and minor bends but a fair example of a very rare stamp Scott = $ 6'000.
1800c.: Colonial cover to Yca rated '3½' reales in manuscript struck with superb GUANCA / VELICA truncated handstamp in red. An exceptional strike of this rare marking (Colareta Type 3 = 85 pts.).
1920 (Feb): Multicolores 10 c. "Clouds & Small Biplane", an unused example with large margins all round, slight colour loss at top of design otherwise fine. A scarce stamp Scott = $ 3'800.
1934 (April 20): Airmail Communications Miniature sheet with four airmail values, fresh and very fine unused, light hinge traces in upper margin. A desirable item Gi MS271 = £ 1'300 / Scott = $ 1'250.
1842 (Dec 22): Entire letter to the Admon. de Correos in Arequipa struck with fine strike of elusive OCONA straight line handstamp in black (Colareta Type 1 = 75 pts.).
1843: Bullseye 30 r. grey-black, intermediate impression, a fine used example with good even margins all round, cancelled by "Correio Geral da Corte" datestamp in black (26.3.1844) Scott = $ 500.
1820c.: Cover from Huanta to Yca rated '3' reales in manuscript with fine strike of GUANTA straight line handstamp in brownish ink (Colareta Type 3 = 50 pts.). Scarce and fine.
1933 (Nov 15): 100r. violet postal stationery cards, with illustrated views of Rio de Janeiro, the complete set of 20 cards, all fresh and fine unused. A scarce and most attractive set (RHM BP-84/BP-103).
1929 (May): Official Airmail 1 s. dark blue, an unused example with variety "Overprint Inverted" in black, fresh and fine, part og. Rare. Gi 208 = £ 325/Scott = $ 240.
1939 (June 17): Red Cross Fund, all three ovpt. values used on two postcards from Bangkok to Bodenbach, Sudeten, then part of the Germany. An appealing duo.
1962 (Sept 20): Chinese Paintings from the Palace Museum, the set of four values unused, fresh and fine, large part og. A key set Mi 470/473 = € 300/Gi = £ 250.
1979/94, the mint collection incl. many motiv stamps and one stockbook with plenty of dublicats and one album with a lot of sheets and souvenir sheets between 1979 and 1984, total in three albums.
1921/23: Consular "A" surcharge (Alemania) on 50 c. blue, an unused example with variety "Surcharge Double", fresh and fine, superb og. A very rare stamp. Signed A. Rendon
1840/1940ca: Lot 50 covers/postcards incl. early shipmail letters such as Guyara Panama to London, stationery postal cards unused and used primarily to Europe, and Servicio Postal Fluvial envelopes unused.
1949/62: Lot 140 stamps unused incl. 1949 definitives (3), 1954 King Tribhuvana (2), 1954 Map of Nepal, and 1959 definitives (5). Mi = € 1'900+ following the consignor.
