    1914 (Oct 17): GRI / 1 d. on German New Guinea 5 pf. green, Setting 9, (see Gibbs page 35), a remarkable horizontal strip of five, marginal from left of sheet, showing Types 1-5, position 3 with 'Straight Serif to 1' variety, position 5 with minute full stop after 'R' of G.R.I.', fresh and fine for this, cancelled by light 'Stephansort' datestamps. Rare Setting and a delightful positional piece. Signed Holcombe Gibbs 2+2c/Gi = £ 950.
