    1860 (Oct 19): Entire letter from Warsaw to Neuchâtel, Switzerland franked by Russia 1866/75 1 k. black & yellow (2) one crossed by faint file fold, 3 k. black & green (2) and vertical pair of 5 k. black & lavender all tied by 'BW' ringed handstamp of the Bromberg Railway. Warsaw despatch alongside (Oct 20). Reverse with Neuchâtel arrival cds (Oct 22). A fresh and fine cover.

    1866: Cover from Warsaw to Neuchâtel, Switzerland franked by pair of 1866/75 10 k. brown & blue, each cancelled in manuscript with '5/11' in ink and again by ringed 'BW' of the Bromberg Railway.  Underpaid and struck with framed 'Unzureichend / frankirt' in black and in red at left. Reverse with 'Aus Russland über Eisenb. Port-Bur. XI' transit (Nov 6) in red and 'Basel-Olten' TPO cds. An unusual and most attractive cover.
