    1860: Cross of Savoy ½ tornese blue (azzurro chiaro), a fine example with ample to large margins on all sides, close but clear of frame line at upper right corner, used on L'Omnibus Newspaper dated January 5, 1861 and tied by framed 'Annullato' handstamp in black with Naples cds of despatch below in red (Jan 5).     1862 (Sept. 29): Province di Napoli 5 gr. carmine rose in an horizontal strip of three (clear at right and bottom left) tied by Bari cds. to cover with 'col vapore francese di Genova' and 'Lubiano per ' in manuscript, sent via Genova, Milano, Desenzano, all dated Oct. 4 to Ljubljana showing dated straight line cancel of Krainburg and "Stadt Laibach 6/10"cds on reverse. An unusual routing clockwise around the peninsula instead of crossing the adriatic sea. Sassone = EUR 1'800.
