    2nd Afghan War 1880 (May 21): Cover at 5 d. rate addressed to 'Hazara Mountain Battery, Royal Artillery, 2nd Division, Cabul Field Force, Afghanistan' franked by Great Britain 1 d. venetian red and 4 d. sage green pl. 16 tied by 'Chatham/17' duplex. Slight file fold and minor rub on the 1 d. from the original enclosure, reverse with 'Sea Post Office-F' cds (May 27) and Cabul arrival datestamp (June 15). A rare and attractive usage.
