    1853/1900: Cape of Good Hope Pages from an old Maury album with used 1853/64 triangulars used with 1 d. brick-red to carmine (8), 4 d. blue (14 including two pairs), 6 d. lilac (3) and 1 s. green (3); Mafeking 'Besieged' 1 d. on ½ d. (both types) used, also Griqualand West with extensive duplication on leaves, Natal with 1857/61 embossed 1 d. blue imperf. used (cert.), 3 d. rose used on piece (cert.), 6 d. green used (cert.), 9 d. blue used (cert.), 1 s. buff used (cert. cat £ 5'500), thereafter complete incl. ½ d. on 1 d. yellow inverted overpint used (cert.), 1882 3 d. blue mint (cert.) and 1881 Telegraph issue with £ 1 mint and used and marginal £ 5 orange mint (cert.); New Republic with extensive selection from 1886 with values to £ 1; Orange Free State with page complete excl. Telegraphs, Swazieland with rare 1890 10 s. dull chestnut used (Gi 9) used with cert., Transvaal from 1870 with pages filled and much duplication. Condition obviously varies but many superb items as noted, duplication on stockcards, a scarce and attractive collection.
