    South Australia 1855/83 issues, the 1884 Reprints, 58 examples all overprinted REPRINT as sent to the UPU in 1889 (the 1867 6 d in grey-blue is the only stamp overprinted SPECIMEN), the Bendon listed complete set of 31 ex a couple of stamps (imperf. 1 s. yellow, rouletted 6 d. indigo), with rouletted 6 d. dull grey-blue showing "Double Print" (see our catalogue photo), plus additional stamps nearly all showing shade varieties, plus an additional 8 stamps not sent to the UPU but with same REPRINT overprint including the 1856 1 s. violet (normal = £ 15'000 in Gibbons), 1882 ½ d. on 1 d. with REPRINT overprint in red etc. See the Gibbons footnote under Gi. 194.     Australia/Victoria 1891: Berne Reprints prepared for the UPU, the 1850-59 set of four values 1 d. red, 2 d. brown (from defaced plate), 3 d. deep blue, Throne 2 d. brown, Throne imperf. 1 d. in pale green, 6 d. blue and octagonal 1 s. in grey blue all overprinted "Reprint" in black, fresh and fine, large part original gum. Scarce.

    British Somalia 1903: Overprint on India at top, the complete set of 13 values to 5 rupees, fresh and fine mint and handstamped SPECIMEN in black by the receiving Postal Administration (the British Post Office), most values with perf. staining and the 12 a. with rounded corner, however a splendid and unique set. Cert. BPA (1977).
    Note: These were handstamped upon receipt by the British Post Office for security purposes. They were first sold by the British Post Office in auction in 1976.
