    1869: Cover and complete contents, mailed from Bangkok to Scutari / Albania and struck with italic "Consulat de France à Bangkok" in blue endorsed at upper right "Via Trieste", carried on French Paquebot"Cambodge" and struck with fine "LIGNE N / PAQ. FR. No. 2" datestamp in black (Salles 1921). The cover arrived in Suez on Aug 19, and was trans-shipped via French P.O. in Alexandria (Aug 21) via Trieste and Vienna (Sept 1) and thence to the French Consul in Scutari. Blue manuscript '85' deleted and altered to 40 (kreuzer) due in blue crayon. A magnificent and extraordinary Exhibition item to a most unusual destination.

    1899: 1 s. red on yellow postal stationery card with typed "Union Postale" at top, sent registered to Rotterdam, Netherlands and up-rated with 1887 12 a. lilac & carmine and 1899 3 a. on 12 a. tied by "Bangkok" cds's. Registration "R" handstamp at left and Rotterdam arrival (Oct 22). A fine and scarce card.

    1907 (April 24): Fiscals overprinted for postage, the set of three values mint or used, with 10 t. with slight crease and large part og., the 20 t. with thin and fine used but for tears and repairs at base, the exceedingly rare 40 t. mint with heavy horizontal crease but otherwise fresh and fine with large part og. Mi 61/63 = EUR 5'000+/Gi = £ 6'950.

Registered label at left and bilingual Tammerfors cds of receipt (May 2) alongside. Naples transit on reverse of a fine and scarce card.
