    1899, stampless cover endorsed "On Active Service, no stamps / available, Okota Nigeria / S.A.F.", oval "Lokoja / Post Office" (24 Jul) datestamp alongside, to Kansas City, Missouri, "T 2d" due mark in blue crayon and United States "COLLECT POSTAGE 10 CENTS" on front, reverse with Kansas City c.d.s. receiver (9 Sep) and strip of five 2c Postage Due adhesives, handstamp on back flap of the Royal Niger Company / Burutu, some creasing and discoloration typical of military mail, scarce.
