    1852: 15 c. orange-yellow, a fine horizontal pair with large margins all round, used on 1852 cover to Nogent sur Marne, France tied by "Gravenhage / Franco" datestamp (29/7) in black with unframed "P.D." alongside. Valnes entry marking in red at right (July 31) and reverse with Nogent sur Marne arrival cds (same day). Light aging but not unattractive.

    1856-63: Fine group of 7 letters. 6 letters with first issue, two single frankings with 5 c., one with sheet margin as local letter from AMSTERDAM, another single franking with printed matter also from and to AMSTERDAM; two pairs of the 5 c. on two covers and two 10 c. single frankings; further a pair of a 15 c. second issue 1864 (no 6) on a small cover MAASTRICHT to Paris, very attractive!
