    1858: Arms 12 ö. blue & 24 ö. dull orange, two fine and fresh example in a vivid deep shade on 1872 cover from Stockholm to London, endorsed "via Gothenburg", tied by clear STOCKHOLM despatch (April 4) cds in black, with framed FRANCO in black and LONDON arrival (April 8) cds in red alongside, reverse with Shipmail cds. Filing folds well away from the franking, nevertheless an appealing cover to Great Britain. Facit 9+10.

Some edge wear, nevertheless an unusual franking to pay the 20 öre rate to the United States, in addition and exotic destination. Facit 29+32.

    1856/78: Selection 17 covers / entires incl. five 1856/58 Skilling Banco 4 Sk. blue inland covers from Norköping, Stockholm, Upsala, Ekolsund and Björnlunda, 1861 local Stockholm cover with (3 ö.) black, two 1868/71 covers with combination frankings of Arms & Lion definitives directed within Sweden and to the United Kingdom, five 1861/71 covers with Arms Öre frankings, three inland, one to the Netherlands, one to the United Kingdom, also four inland covers with later Lion and Circle type frankings. Lot includes in addition two semi-modern covers and a 1942 commemorative stamp.
