    1888/1961: Superb collection of unused, used and postal history, covering a large area with many better and scarce items like 1888 "TOKAR" bilingual cds (on Egypt Gi 63), 1896 Dongola Expedition covers (2), 1938 5 Piastres error, used and signed Holcombe (SG 77 var.), 1935 Gordon issue Die Proof of the 50 pi. value central vignette (60 x 39 mm), Airmail 1938 5 m. overprinted unused (SG 74x, listed but unpriced), rare 1907 Postal stationery card "4 MILLIEMES" overprint, unused and signed Todd AIEP, some Travelling Post Offices, Essays and Trials, Officials unused in panes, etc., also a specialized assembly of the 1941 Tuti Island set incl. large multiples, overall condition fine to very fine. A stunning assembly.

    Interrupted Imperial Airways Flight Short S.23 'CORSAIR' at Athens, Greece 1938 (Feb 12/13): Envelope from Wadi Medani (Feb. 11, Sudan to Dublin, franked with Camel Postman 5 m. (6) and carried with Imperial Airways service KN 33 Khartoum - Southampton. Interrupted flight for two day at Athens, after Capt. H.Woodhouse was struck in the eye by a hailstone. Only very few items known.
