    Aer Lingus DC-3 EI-AFL 'St. Kevin' of London to Dublin flight, crashed at Dolwyddelan / Nant-Gwynant in Wales 1952 (Jan. 10): Commercial envelope 'Aktiebolaget Transmarin / Helsingborg' Sweden to Dublin with Helsingborg meter mark (Jan.9), bearing official label 'M.P.480 (official Seal) COVER FOUND OPEN (OR TORNED)' cancelled by Dublin postmark (Jan 15) together with typewritten note: "This item was recovered from the wreck of the Aer Lingus plane St. Kevin Post Cheantar Baile Atha Cliath" Nierinck 520110a.

    Aer Lingus DC-3 EI-AFL 'St. Kevin' London - Dublin flight crashed at Dolwyddelan / Nant-Gwynant in Wales 1952 (Jan. 10): Selection of four envelopes from Sweden, all bearing typewritten label "This item was recovered from the wreck of the Aer Lingus plane St. Kevin" cancelled by Dublin postmark (Jan 14 or 15) together with many documents, photographs and official Accident Report of Court Investigation as well as newspapers reporting from the desaster. Further three Aer Lingus Flight reports of previous flights (1950/52), signed by Capt. Richard Laker, passenger on board the 'St. Kevin'. Scarce and fine Nierinck 520110 = CHF 2'600.

    Schweden 1931 (10. Mai): Karte ab Malmö vom Nachbringeflug via "Köln 11.5.31" mit Dt. Zusatzfrankatur zum Schleuderflug "Dampfer 'Europa' - New York 16.5.31". Seltene Zuleitung, nur wenige Belege bekannt Graue / Leder K 62 SW = Euro 800.

    1865: Three-color franking 24 + 50 + 5 Öre forming the 79 Öre rate, that was in vigour in 1865 for mail routed via Prussia, so fully prepaid from "STOCKHOLM 29/5 1865" to Genève. The stamps are of good colour, have intact perforation, the 24 Öre stamp ha a vertical tear at the uper right just at the rim of the design, framed "FRANCO", several tax marks, various transit cancels and arrival on the reverse. Facit (2015) = SKR 40000 .  To this two postcards from Norway with three-colour franking + 20 Ore SPITSBERGEN stamps to Basel 1904  and other postcard vom FIAERLAND to Italy 1914

    1855/1886: Impressive collection of classic Sweden in used condition, beginning with the complete Skilling Bco issue, with usual centering and quality challenges. Some with old expertisers marks. Later issues beginning with the 1856 local contain many fine copies and choice cancellations, with many different shades. Interesting and satisfying lot.
