    1863/65: 6 d. lilac, wmk. Crown CC, perf. 12½, two used examples on 1867 cover to Nottingham, cancelled by "1" numeral obliterators in black with "PIETERMARITZBURG / NATAL" cds of despatch at right (Sept 9) and "PAID / DEVONPORT / CAPE-PACKET" cds in red (Oct 22) above. Nottingham arrival cds on reverse of a most attractive cover.
