    1882/90: 1 d. carmine-rose, wmk. Crown CA, a horizontal strip of three on 1890 thin paper envelope from Basseterre to London in combination with Antigua 1884/87 1 d. carmine-red all tied by "A12" obliterators in black of St. Christopher with "ST.KITTS" code C datestamp at left (April 10). Reverse with hooded 'London / Paid' arrival datestamp (April 25) in red. One small worm hole in envelope and opening tears at top but a most attractive usage. Cert. BPA (2020).

Rare.rnNote: Of the six sets printed imperforate, the Brian Brookes collection contained three complete sets (one in singles, one in horizontal pairs) and additional single examples of the 2 d. (2), 2½ d. (2) and 3 d. (2); these being the 'missing' values from the 2 d., 2½ d. and 3 d. examples of the six printed.
