    1869: 50 bani pale blue & red and 25 b. orange & blue, fine large margined examples used on 1869 cover to Paris, France tied by BUCURESTI / SERA datestamp (30/5) in black (Kiriac fig. 442). The cover with some opening tears at top and both stamps showing significant plate flaws - the 25 bani with a dash of orange in the margin at upper right and the 50 b. with clear evidence of re-touching behind King Carol's head in the vignette. Strasbourg entry mark in blue at right (June 5). A rare and appealing franking. Cert. Heimbüchler (2014).rnrnProvenance: Collection E. J.     1872: Paris printing 25 b. orange, a strip of three, used on 1874 cover to Marseille tied by "GALATZI" datestamps (Sept 18) in black. Prepaid at single rate but found to be double, struck with italic "AFFRANCHISEMNENT / INSUFFISANT" and framed 'N.A.' in black; charged '16' décimes due on arrival in manuscript.

    1885/1900: Small group of covers / cards (6) all showing Postage Due (Duval issue) usages on arrival in France with 1887 cover with 1885 5 b. green on greenish block of five from Rimnicu Valcea taxed at 50 c., 1885 and 1886 stampless covers with "T" markings taxed at 50 c., 1897 and 1900 stationery cards taxed at 10 c. or 20 c., condition varies but an interesting group.
