    1868/78: 6 d. yellow-green, perf. 13, a used example on small 1875 envelope to Dieppe, France and readdressed on to Brighton, cancelled by '138' numeral of WALLOON in red (May 9), with scarce framed "GB / 1F 66c." accountancy marking in red at left. Circular "POSS. ANGL. V. SUEZ / ALEXANDRIE" in red on front (July 11) and arrival on reverse. Charged with handstruck '12' décimes due in black.     1868/78: 6 d. yellow-green, perf. 12, a used example on 1878 underpaid cover to Paris endorsed "Les Straits" at top right, part-paying the 11d. rate, heavily tied in black with ROCKHAMPTON / QUEENSLAND despatch cds (April 29) at right. Traingular "T" marking in black and carried by Queensland Royal Mail Co. Steamer via Torres Straits and Batavia to Singapore. Circular "AUSTRALIE V. SUEZ / ALEXANDRIE" in red (July 7) and charged with handstruck '12' décimes marking in black.

    1882/91: 1 d. pale orange-red, a horizontal pair used on 1888 cover to Cognac, tied by TOWNSVILLE / QUEENSLAND datestamps (Feb 15) in black with large "T" mark alongside. Mailed via Brindisi with circular "AUSTRALIE V. BRIND / A. MOD" in red (April 7) and taxed on arrival ('0.80' in manuscript) with 1881/92 Postage Due 5 c., 15 c. and 60 c. black (Maury T14+T16+T21) tied by Cognac cds's in black.
