    1862/67 1 l. deep brown, 2 l. bright yellow brown (2) and 5 l. green on bluish, on 1866 wrapper band front from Piraeus to Lyon, France, all tied by dotted '2' numeral of Piraeus with cds of despatch (Dec 8) alongside. Greek 'Paid to Destination' handstamp in black and carried by the Ligne U French Paquebot 'Tibre' to Marseille where two strikes of P.P. in red applied with handstruck '15c.' due marking in red.     1862/67: 10 l. bright orange on bluish on Newspaper wrapper band front and large part back mailed from Piraeus to Lyon, France franked with tied by dotted '2' numeral of Piraeus (and entry marking of Marseille) with Piraeus cds of despatch (Dec 29) alongside. Handstruck '30c.' due marking in red applied at right. A very unusual and colourful usage.     1862/67: Consecutive printings 10m l. orange on greenish with huge margins, 20 l. blue on bluish with large margins and 40 l. lilac on blued touched to large, all used on 1870 cover from Argostolian to Paris tied by dotted '110' lozenge with despatch cds at left. The initial 'PD' deleted when found to be overweight and struck with framed "AFFRANCHISEMENT / INSUFFISANT" in black. "Grece / St. Michel" entry marking in blue (March 15) and charged with handstruck '10' décimes due to pay. Some toning not greatly detracting from a scarce franking. Cert.
