Catalogue# : 16/181862/67 1 l. deep brown, 2 l. bright yellow brown (2) and 5 l. green on bluish, on 1866 wrapper band front from Piraeus to Lyon, France, all tied by dotted '2' numeral of Piraeus with cds of despatch (Dec 8) alongside. Greek 'Paid to Destination' handstamp in black and carried by the Ligne U French Paquebot 'Tibre' to Marseille where two strikes of P.P. in red applied with handstruck '15c.' due marking in red. A very unusual and colourful usage.
