1882/90: India 1 a. plum used on 1900 postcard to Paris tied by RANGOON cds (Jan 13), with circular "T" mark below, mailed via Bombay and carried on the Steamer "Carthage" with "Sea Post Office / C" cds in black (Jan 20). Taxed on arrival with 1893 Postage Due 15 c. green on arrival (Feb 3). Small nick at base of card but fine; together with India 2 a. 6 p. postal stationery envelope used in 1896 from HENZADA with further stamp apparently removed in transit, carried on the "Oriental" via Bombay and taxed on receipt with 1893 Postage Due 10 c. brown (2) and 30 c. red.Starting bid : 120 CHFHammer price : 120 CHFLot# : 7045 Birma
1865: India 2 a. orange, a used example on Printed Matter rate entire letter from Rangoon to Marseille endorsed "via Bombay & Italy", boldly tied by "RANGOON / 156" duplex (March 8) in black and by firm's chop in blue. Reverse with "Calcutta / India Unpaid" transit duplex (March 14) in blue. Circular "POSS. ANG. V. BRIND / A.
