1926/37: Overland Mail, registered envelope franked on reverse from Baghdad to London bearing red 'OVERLAND MAIL' label together with 'NAIRN TRANSPORT CO.LTD. Overland Desert Mail' envelope from Damascus via Beyrouth to England. 1840/1919c.: Collection with 1840 pieces (2) from Tartar Post forms showing superb strikes of intaglion "Mosul" handstamps in blue-black, Dulos 1 pi. brown strip of three with triple boxed "Mosul" handstamps and generally very fine strikes of later issues (10 items) and a very similar range from Baghdad with covers and blocks, Turkish usages from Erbil and Suleimanyah on loose stamps or piece, range (18 items) with "Kerkuk" cancellations from 1870-1916 including three usages on blocks of four, range (9) with "Moussoul" datestamps incl. cards and a block of four, scarcer cancels on Ottoman issues incl.
