    Messageries Impériales 1864: Cover from Genova to the Italian Consul in Buenos Aires, Argentina franked by De La Rue 1863 5 c. grey-green, 10 c. orange-brown pair, 15 c. pale blue and 30 c. brown (2) all tied by 'Genova' datestamps (Sept 17) in black and by 'Italie / Lanslebourg' transit in red. Carried on the Ligne du Bresil Packet "Béarn" to Rio and thence on the "Saintonge" to Buenos Aires. Minor imperfections at base but a scarce DLR four colour franking. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 128. Signed E. Diena. Cert. S. Sorani (1996).

    Messageries Impériales 1877: Cover from Genova to Buenos Aires, Argentina endorsed "via di Bordeaux", franked by 1863/67 30 c. brown, 60m c. lilac, small fault, and 1867 20 c. blue tied by dotted '13' numeral obliterators in black. 'Genova' despatch cds (Feb 1) alongside and 'Italie / Amb. M.-Cenis' datestamp in red (Feb 2). Carried on Paquebot "Niger" to Buenos Aires with circulaar "LIGNE J" datestamp (Feb 5) on reverse with Buenos Aires arrival cds (March 1). Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 128.

    RMSP & PSNC 1876: Entire letter from Genova to Callao, Peru franked by 1863/67 40 c. carmine and 60 c. lilac, each in horizontal pairs, tied by '13' dotted numeral of Genova with despatch cds (June 28) alongside. London transit in red with accountancy in red crayon '1.70'. Carried on the RMSP "Nile" to Colon, trans-shipped to PSNC vessel from Panama to Callao, where taxed on arrival with 1874 5 c. vermilion pair cancelled in blue (Scott J2). Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 231. A scarce and most attractive entire.
